OPP layered fullThe Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter that occurred at the James Mason Memorial Community Centre some time between March 8 at 2 p.m. and March 15 at 11:01 a.m.

A large storage shed was broken into and approximately $2,000 in equipment was stolen from the Community Centre which is located on French Bay Road on Saugeen First Nation.

A list of the items that were stolen is as follows:

1 blue Benchmark table saw
1 red Tory Bilt push mower
1 grey and orange Stihl grass trimmer whipper snipper
1 grey and orange Stihl leaf blower
1 black Solar large battery charger
1 large upright Air Compressor with a blue and yellow airline
1 set of black and red booster cables

Police believe the items would have been transported by a large vehicle with cargo capabilities or by using a trailer.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is requesting anyone who may have information regarding this break and enter or observed any suspicious persons or vehicles roaming on the property of the James Mason Memorial Community Centre to call the Bruce Peninsula OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
