It’s been just over a week since the Alibrahim family arrived in Saugeen Shores, thanks to the efforts of the Saugeen Shores Refugee Fund and the support of the community of Saugeen Shores.

The family has spent the week settling into their new home, familiarizing themselves with their new community and getting a glimpse of what life in Ontario looks like.

The children will begin at Port Elgin Saugeen Central School this week.
