Following the Rotary Huron Shore Run that raised over $42,000 for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, runners, walkers and community members had an opportunity to enjoy massages and demonstrations at the fifth annual Health and Wellness Fair at the Southampton Coliseum, June 3.

Awards were given to athletes in the variety of runs and age groups and top fundraisers were also recognized.

Organizer Laura Moscone, Town of Saugeen Shores Marketing and Programs Coordinator, said that there were 36 vendors at the Health and Wellness Fair with a new attraction in Wee Wigglers that took over the Southampton Curling Club with a children's obstacle course. “It’s been a pretty busy morning so far,” said Mascone at the event that saw hundreds of people attend. “I think people are drawn to the community because it’s a great place to be active.”
