The curds and gravy are back for a third year as Poutinefest will once again be hosted in downtown Port Elgin.

This year will see The Queen’s Bar & Grill, The Wismer House and Chester’s Bar & Grill serve up the Canadian delicacy on Saturday, August 11 from 12 to 3 p.m.

Tickets for the delicious event will go on sale August 11 at Coulter Parkette, the corner of Green and Goderich Street, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Proceeds from Poutinefest 2018 will go in support of Dream Share Uganda efforts and Saugeen Shore Minor Hockey.

Previously hosted by the Port Elgin BIA, Poutinefest has welcomed hundreds who have lined up to get a taste from Port Elgin restaurants who put an interesting spin on the French fry dish.
