There is lots of activities happening at MacGregor Point Provincial Park this March Break, beginning on Saturday, March 11 and running through to Saturday, March 18.

On Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. come see Wild Ontario’s Live Raptor Show. Help MacGregor Park welcome Wild Ontario and get up close and personal with some of the coolest birds of prey around. Program runs indoors if it’s raining. Please do not bring pets.

On Monday, March 13 at 9:00 p.m. check out the Owl Prowl evening hike. Join staff at the Visitor Centre parking lot for an evening hike to seek out some of MacGregor Point Provincial Park’s creatures of the night. Again, no pets please.

Then from Wednesday to Friday, March 15 to 17, join staff at the Visitor Centre to make your own suet feeder with Busy Birds - Build a Feeder. Learn about some of the park’s 4-season birds during this step-by-step activity using materials you can find around your home. All materials will be provided.

Birding for Beginners will take place on Saturday, March 18 at 10 a.m. Join park naturalists and learn about the park’s year round birds and how they survive the winter months. Learn about identification techniques, unique bird behaviours and common calls.

Then at 2 p.m. on Saturday special guest Sciensational Sssnakes Live Reptile Show will be at the Visitor Centre for an opportunity to get up close to Ontario’s ectotherms to see just how ‘cool’ they really are.
