imageYou don’t have to leave Bruce County for family fun during March Break. The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre invites families and children to enjoy a week packed with fun activities for kids both big and small. Whether you’re looking for day camp or somewhere to have fun as a family, you will find something for everyone at the Museum.

March Break Family Fun Days run March 14 to 19 while the KidZone March Break Discovery Day Camp program runs March 14 to 18.

“We are pleased to help support this program for another year. It was such a great success last year and we feel it’s wonderful to be able to help kids enjoy March Break in this excellent facility,” says Bill Streeter, Chair of Vocational and Youth Services with the Rotary Club of Southampton.

Family Fun Days include daily crafts and activity centres. Among the special guests are a professional puppet theatre performance on Monday at 2 p.m. with "Where are you Cinderella?", Hoppy the Roving Clown on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Dr. Science with wild and wacky science experiments on Thursday.

On Saturday have fun with slot cars and four lanes of race track. Feature films will be playing on Tuesday and Friday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with "Inside Out" on Tuesday and "The Good Dinosaur" on Friday. Family Fun Days are free for Museum members; for non-members, general admission applies.

For March Break KidZone Discovery Day Camp your child's imagination is going to the circus. Sign up for a week dedicated to games, crafts and outdoor fun all in a theme of the circus. Space is limited so pre-registration is required. The camp is for ages 5 to 12 and runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended hours before and after camp are available for an additional fee.
